New York, NY (Sports Network) - Major League Soccer announced on Tuesday that it is suspending Real Salt Lake midfielder Jean Alexandre for one game and fining him $500. The punishment stems from an incident on June 18 against D.C. United which saw him use a reckless tackle that endangered his opponent. The play happened in the 49th minute of the game and Alexandre will sit out Real Salt Lake's game on Wednesday against the Chicago Fire.
