Flushing, NY (Sports Network) - Atlanta Braves outfielder Nate McLouth underwent surgery to repair abdominal and adductor tears and will be sidelined for the next six weeks. Dr. William Meyers performed the sports hernia surgery in Philadelphia on Thursday. McLouth, who has been on the disabled list since July 29 because of the injury, is hitting .228 with four homers and 16 RBI in 81 games this season.
